POTENTIALLY good news — fingers crossed that, with the vaccines being rolled out and the introduction of tight New Year restrictions, the NMTF will be able to stage a full-blown Young Traders Market in 2021.
Traditionally the regional finals are held in July, with the national final in Stratford-upon-Avon at the end of August.
So hopefully the COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted before then.
Of course last year the regional finals could not be held and the category winners had to be judged remotely.
If necessary that could happen again.
NMTF CEO Joe Harrison said: “At this stage we are hoping this hugely popular competition will be able to go ahead as normal.
“But if not we have our contingency plans in place.”
Joe said both young entrepreneurs and interested market operators should watch out for the latest news on the NMTF’s website and social media channels.
“But young traders can already apply at the top of this page,” he added.
