AS COVID restrictions are cautiously lifted the NMTF is now as certain as it can be that the full Young Traders Market 2021 will go ahead — regional finals leading to the national final at Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday and Saturday, August 27th and 28th.
Last year the regional finals could not be held because of the pandemic and the category winners had to be judged remotely.
Contingency plans to do that again have been put in place but confidence is such that most of the regional final dates have been fixed:
Saturday July 3rd • North West region in Warrington
Thursday July 22nd • London and South East in Westminster
Saturday July 24th • North East in Newcastle upon Tyne
Thursday July 29th • South West in Wells
Saturday July 31st • Yorkshire and the Humber in Doncaster.
Wednesday August 4th • East of England in Bury St Edmunds
Saturday August 7th • Midlands in Wolverhampton
Dates and venues for Wales and Northern Ireland have still to be fixed.
Additionally markets operators all over the country with be organising their own local events.
