After a shaky start with a short early morning downpour the clouds cleared and we were awarded with a beautiful sunny day which made perfect trading conditions. Bolton Town Centre was bustling with 28 young traders representing Crewe, The Wirral, Bolton, Bury, and Warrington. The Mayor and Mayoress attended and spoke to all the young traders and were amazed by all the talent.

Joining us were three under 16 year old traders who demonstrated their passion and professionalism and in a few years will be competing for a place in the main competition. There were some great products to choose from including new lines such as permanent sealed jewellery, men’s grooming products, dairy free cakes and pop star prints. The arts and crafts category was the largest, giving the judges a harder task to whittle it down to one winner and one highly commended however as unfortunately there were no food and drink traders we could increase the number of traders going through from that category.
