The already busy Dudley Street in Wolverhampton Town Centre was made livelier by the addition of eighteen young traders vying for the title of the Midlands Young trader of the year. The standard of products was varied and wide and of exceptional quality. On offer, were crocheted bowls, children’s clothes, perfumes, hand painted slates , handmade silver jewellery , handmade wax melts, personalised printing , cakes, bakes , pet accessories and artists with their amazing prints alongside a horsebox with cocktails. A notable mention should go out to the two sixteen-year-olds that put on a great display with their arts and crafts and cakes, such was their stalls , they looked like they had been trading for lot longer. A great mix of products to suit the busy footfall along Dudley Street, the judges spent longer than allocated with their judging duties as it was so difficult to choose winners from the amazing traders here today. And the rain, it came , but at 4pm when forecast so we managed a whole day’s trading before getting wet.
