communication with UK Government
The NMTF believes that monitoring Government proposals and making representation when necessary is essential.
Whilst sometimes communication is made directly with the Government minister concerned, often it is channelled through one of our parliamentary advisers, who are always on hand with helpful advice and information.
Pictured are three of our MPs — Llin Golding, Jim Marshall and Angela Browning. A fourth, David Chidgey, was appointed in centenary year.

Support Officer or a Mobile Officer to deal with any difficulty which has arisen.
When it comes to major promotions such as Great British Market Week the branch has a vital role to play in tailoring the event to suit the local situation.
Generally such promotions work better where the federation has a branch whose officers have a good working relationship with the operator, be it local authority or private.
Branches are encouraged to meet operators as frequently as possible, not simply to recite a list of complaints or concerns but to talk positively about the way ahead.
