Queen visits Belfast St George’s
THE Queen chatted to traders at Belfast St George’s Market when she and the Duke of Edinburgh paid a three-day visit to Northern Ireland.
Three-year-old Jack Morgan presented her with a cushion, with an image of a helicopter on it, for her great-grandson Prince George.

Jack is the grandson of NMTF Belfast branch Chairman Pat Dyer (pictured right).
Also there are branch Secretary Sean Kerr (left) and National Executive Board member Paddy Lynn.

Meet Brendan Dyson Field Support Officer
SON of a market trader in East Yorkshire, growing up on markets has given Brendan a passion for markets and market trading plus a strong understanding about the role of the NMTF within the industry.
With over 10 years of customer-focused sales experience working for a small business, Brendan gets what it’s like out there for market traders earning a crust on today’s markets.
Brendan joins a team of three Field Support Officers who visit markets every day, encouraging membership of the NMTF and supporting members with advice and guidance.
He has a partner, Ellie, and a young son, Riley.
     EMYR OWEN is the winner of this year’s Market Manager of the Year award. Helping in the rejuvenation of Llangefni market, on the isle of Anglesey as well as running a fruit
and veg stall on the market himself.
NMTF Chief Executive, Joe Harrison went to present Emyr with the award on Llangefni
market.
