Maximising product presentation – top tips
One of the best ways to ensure that your product presentation is always at its best is to use a short, easy to complete checklist. This will help to ensure that nothing gets overlooked and will also help to ensure that product presentation standards are being constantly maintained.
Products are grouped logically (i.e. all sportswear together) Similar products are grouped together (i.e. all tracksuits) Products have enough (but not too much) space to be noticed Products are standing up and facing the customer
The right display equipment is being used
Colour blocking, bulk displays, packaging design, etc. are used to create impact Accessorised displays are being used for key products/ranges
Best selling products are highlighted
Signage has been used to create a ‘bigger’ display
Any seasonal products are on display and visible
A full range of products is on display and clearly visible to customers
A few items (not all) of each product are on display
There are no empty spaces/shelves/tables/rails, etc.
It is easy for customers to see what is being sold
Product range has impact and is noticeable as customers approach the stall
The stall layout helps to educate/inform customers about the products sold
