First-ever regional final in NI staged in Belfast St George’s

THE NMTF has been keen to introduce Northern Ireland to the Young Traders Market initiative and now — in the 10th year of the project — we have made it.
Around 50 16 to 30-year-olds took part in the first-ever NI regional final at the famous St George’s Market in Belfast.
The 10 traders who got the awards (see below) are all eligible to take part in the National Final at Stratford-upon-Avon in Warwickshire over the August bank holiday weekend.
NMTF CEO Joe Harrison said the organisation was really grateful for the support given to the project by Belfast City Council.
“We hoped we could stage a regional event in Northern Ireland and thanks to Belfast City
Council we did,” he added.
“Our membership has always been strong in the province and we feel it is more than fitting that the whole region should feel part of our UK campaign.”
