The South West regional final winners at Exeter

Blighted by dangerous predicted wind speeds, the YTM South West regional final looked to be in jeopardy.
But the InExeter team (Lottie) pulled out all the stops and switched the trading day from Saturday to Sunday.
Given that there was  a Cathedral and a Sunday involved that was no easy feat.
But in between quiet times for services we managed to pull off a 22-strong regional final.
The wind dropped and the sun shone brightly, which attracted good footfall, and we were asked by many if this could be a regular event.  The traders were in fine fettle and sales of gin, cakes, bakes, illustrations, vintage clothes and crocheted gifts were plenty.
The competition was won by Gabrielle Martin-Goff with her eco-friendly baby clothes.  Gabrielle had travelled from Gloucester to attend and has been part of the campaign for many years, proving that if you take on board feedback and improve year on year you can do it!  Well done Gabrielle — we look forward to seeing you and the other winners/highly commended traders at the national final.
