Member Support and Business Development Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our members. Join our team as a Member Support & Business Development Officer and contribute to providing outstanding service to our valued members.

Duties:

  • Market visits around the UK, speaking to existing members, traders and promoting membership to potential new members.
  • Respond promptly to member enquiries via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Assist members with queries and disputes.
  • Provide information on services, facilities, and membership benefits.
  • Relevant administration including producing daily market visit reports, weekly activity sheets and monthly expenses.
  • Occasional physical work, including some relatively heavy lifting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service.
  • Clean driving licence preferred – a company vehicle will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work well as an individual, as well as in a team environment.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanour with a customer-focused attitude.

Job Type: Full-time / Tuesday – Saturday

Location: Head Office (Barnsley) and off-site locations throughout the UK

Note: Role involves overnight stays.

Pay: Circa £26k+ depending on experience
