Originally founded in 1899 as the National Market Traders Federation, the NMTF is the UK's only national trade association dedicated to supporting market and street traders, events retailers, and mobile caterers. In July 2016 the National Market Traders Federation incorporated and became NMTF Ltd operating as a private company limited by guarantee without share capital, the organization provides critical business services, political representation, and liability insurance to its roughly 25,000 members across Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
