NMTF 400 Ways to Increase Your Sales, or NMTF 400 for short, contains tips, advice and guidance for the experienced market trader.
The guide is split up into a series of sections, which enables traders to step back, pick out and critically evaluate parts of their business from a customers’ perspective.

The NMTF works with The Source Skills Academy ("The Source") to deliver short courses in retailing to market traders all over the United Kingdom.
The Source is a founding member of the National Skills Academy for Retail, a network of training providers that provide high quality, nationally-recognised courses at the local level.
The NMTF has worked with The Source to adapt and improve the following courses for entrepreneurs running businesses on markets:
The Source can deliver these courses in bite-size sessions to accommodate for the availability of market traders, including short evening sessions.
The length of the courses varies from two hours each for the Guide to Successful Retailing and up to six hours for the WorldHost Principles of Customer Service.
Funding is also available to reduce the costs of running the courses for market traders.
