Good customer service will also add significantly to customers’ perceptions of your products. Great customer service will create a positive purchase experience which will add value to the product/service the customer has bought. Take a look at Module 3 which looks at ways in which you can offer excellent customer service.

Ultimately you will only be successful at creating good value if your product/ service is something your customer actually wants or needs. Value in your product or service is all about the customer and is a matter of perception.
If your product or service is perceived by the customer as having value then that perception will result in a purchase.
Sales people can often ‘oversell’ their products and overlook the customer's needs. The result is an unsuitable solution/product that is of little value to the customer. A satisfied customer is a happy customer who will become a loyal customer!
Most customers are looking for quality products at fair prices with good customer service
